At HIVIS, we stock a range of speed humps made from durable rubber, ideal for gently slowing traffic in all car parks. All models meet AS2890.1-2004 requirements and feature a flat-top design for compliance.

Type 1 Speed Humps

Type 1 Speed Humps are ideal for circulating roadways and long aisles, often found in large outdoor car parks, school car parks, or areas with noise restrictions. The design requires drivers to reduce their speed from over 30km/h to below 25km/h for pedestrian safety and overall traffic management in the area.

Please note that a minimum space of 30m is required between each Type 1 Speed Hump.

We also offer Type 1 Rubber Speed Hump End Caps to prevent trip hazards in the area and protect tyres from damage.

Type 2 Speed Humps

Type 2 Speed Humps are more appropriate for covered and multi-storey car parks or where vehicles are travelling at a speed below 30km/h, but further speed reductions are necessary to ensure pedestrian safety. A minimum space of 10m is required between Type 2 Speed Humps on aisles or roadways.

Our Type 2 Speed Rubber Humps are available in sections (sold separately) to ensure you can build out speed humps to meet the specific dimensions of the space or roadway. These interlocking sections can be finished with Type 2 Rubber Speed Hump End Caps, which prevent pedestrian trip hazards and protect tyres from damage.

Cable Protector Speed Humps

Cables can be a serious trip hazard in car parks. At HIVIS, we stock Cable Protector Speed Humps with five cable channels, designed to protect cables or leads and eliminate the risk of trips on loose cabling. These protectors are designed for temporary use, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, e.g. worksites.
