Mine flags

Mine flags play a crucial role in ensuring safety and communication among miners.

Mining vehicle flags can be attached to the top of large mining trucks, excavators, or other tall equipment to indicate their presence and height, among a range of other uses. These flags can help prevent collisions between vehicles and low-hanging obstacles like power lines or tunnel ceilings, especially in low-light conditions.

Our mine flags are available in orange and green with a reflective strip.

Flagstaff & flagpole options

At HIVIS, we offer a range of convenient flagstaff and flagpole options to suit various mining applications. For example, we stock standard flagstaffs ranging from 1.5m to 3.0m and a 2.4m break-apart option.

For low-light conditions, we recommend opting for our LED flagpoles, offering up to 800m visibility when wired to a vehicle. The pole itself is exceptionally flexible, and the LED lights are red for improved visibility in mining settings.

We also offer quick-release connectors for flagstaffs and magnetic flagstaff bases, which can be installed temporarily or permanently based on your needs.
