Benefits of using LED mining lights

Over the last four decades, HIVIS has been pioneering the use of LED-powered signs on Australian mining sites.

LED mining lights offer a wide range of benefits, including instant light (no warm-up time) and directional light for low-light conditions (e.g. mine shafts). LED mining signs also have a much longer lifespan than traditional light sources and are considered more durable for rough underground conditions.

Our LED flashing beacons hold two x six-volt batteries and feature an amber lens.

Our solar warning beacons are available in yellow, white, red and blue and flash up to 60 times per minute. Simply attach them to traffic cones or triangles (with our matching mounting bracket) and allow the solar panel to soak up light and provide power.
