Reflective Decals at NSW Boat Ramps
Transport for NSW | Maritime have been working closely with the Transport for NSW Brand Team to ensure the consistency of the TfNSW brand across multiple assets in NSW. This includes over 140 boat ramps at the entrance to main NSW waterways. Hi-Vis had already manufactured many of the boat ramp signs already insitu, so the team was able to quickly facilitate the printing and installation changeover programme seamlessly.
REQUIREMENTS
Over 140 1.2 metre long full colour reflective decals were required to be replaced on existing boat ramp signs over the month of July 2021. Each decal was digitally printed in full colour with both Transport for NSW and Local Government Area logos, emergency contact details phone number and QR code directing waterways users to the TFNSW emergency details contact details.
The real challenge though lie in the tyranny of distance, as replacement locations were literally from one end of NSW to the other! In the first 3 weeks of July over 8000 kilometres was covered to install the decals throughout NSW excluding Sydney and Central Coast where the installation programme had been halted by the introduction of state-based restrictions due to COVID-19. Sydney and Central Coast programme to be completed after lockdown.
Regions covered include: Far North Coast, Mid North Coast, Hunter Inland, Monaro, Murray Inland, Hawkesbury River – Broken Bay, South Coast, Central Coast and Sydney Harbour.
