We Are Where You Are | Lansdowne, Sydney - 'Meccano Set'
Just recently our signs were seen being installed at the iconic 'meccano set' in Lansdowne, Sydney. Hi-Vis has the capability of producing large and grand format signs like these in many cases in one or two pieces rather than in several pieces - less joins allows for easier installation [as demonstrated in the news article] and better longevity of the actual sign itself, as there are less places on the sign to erode over time. Check out the Channel Nine news article below.
Sydney Trains Rebrand
55 x 8 car trains | 6 weeks
No other sign company in Australia could achieve the required outcomes and turnaround times which were a prerequisite for this project. Due to the high quality of work and project management - Hi-Vis won an award from the Speciality Graphics Industry Association for taking on such a huge project in such a short turnaround time. Over 6000 sqm of material was printed, cut and installed onto over 370 trains in a 3 week turnaround time. Check it out in the video below:
Newcastle Permanent Fleet Rebrand
60 Vehicles | 21 Days
Rebranding this many vehicles is no mean feat!
Fast work was expected by Newcastle Permanent to apply new fleet graphics to over 60 brand new vehicles.
360 Graphics supplied profile cut Avery 900EA Cast Vinyl Film, high performance cast with a clear permanent Easy Apply RS adhesive vinyl. Designed as a cost effective automotive paint replacement film which has been engineered to meet the rigorous demands of vehicle application.
Easy Apply has air egress channels for fast and easy removal of entrapped air bubbles. RS technology ensures the vinyl stands-off the surface until pressure is applied, making it easy to reposition and slide into place. Long Term removability for the life of the product, with little or no adhesive residue. Up to 10 years outdoor durability.
360 had 60 vehicles to apply graphics to in a short turn around, only 21 days. The work was performed at our Carrington facility in Newcastle with each taking about 2-3 hours to apply.

Keeping Their Fleet Safer
NSW Police Rescue were looking for a complete vehicle identification system to keep their fleets safer when travelling on roads and in rescue situations. Hi-Vis was the best solution in the marketplace as we were able to offer optimal reflectivity with 3M Diamond Grade materials, fully printed in Police Rescue corporate colours, dust and water proof with full 3M warranties.
As a 3M Master Converter, Hi-Vis supplied printed and PerfectSeal™ 3M Diamond Grade Material to the newly refurbished fleet of rescue units in Newcastle, Sydney & the Illawarra.
The work was performed in 2 stages, templates produced and profile cuts organised so NO cutting was performed on the vehicles, each piece was applied to the specific area that required the graphic. Rivets, hinges, roller door slats and lights all had to be allowed for before the film was cut, to provide all areas of the reflective film with a PerfectSeal™ every time. Once completed the graphic application was completed on-site in about 8 hours. All files have been retained for any later replacement as maybe required.
PerfectSeal™ is the only ultrasonic edge sealing system in Australia. Only available from Hi-Vis Signs & Safety. Based on 3M Assured Seal, all edges are simultaneously ultrasonically edge sealed and precision cut for dust and water proofing. Guaranteed performance and durability.
Asset Beautification - Civic Theatre Newcastle
Reverse White Printing
Civic Theatre approached Hi-Vis & Hive Marketing to assist in the beautification of the gorgeous old Civic Theatre. The brief was to include images from current shows and use a unique flavour to glam up the theatre from the outside in! Reverse white printing was used to create the same image effect from inside the theatre as it appears on the outside. The result was absolutely stunning and admired by many theatre goers and passers by. Inside pylons were also 'wrapped' to create a more intimate and intense feel within the theatre itself.
